She Shreds

Here is a series of Specialized commercials in which I was involved with the production.  I started as a production assistant for the “Bettini” and “Boonen” commercials and quickly learned the “ins and outs” of film production.  The experience of working on a fast paced, budget and deadline oriented set such as this was like a crash course in the film industry.  I had never been expected to learn anything so quickly.

A few months later I was asked to be the production coordinator for the “Innovate or Die” commercial.  This was a very special experience because not only was I given the opportunity to help produce the commercial; I got to do what every bike nerd dreams of doing.  I got to wander around the Specialized Headquarters between the hours of 12am and 5am, which means no one was around but the film crew.  I got to explore everything from the welding room to the room where all the creative ideas are born.
